Position Type: Permanent (3-month probation period)

Hours of Work: Full Time – 48 hours per week

Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 18:00-06:00

Pay: £12.45 per hour + 15% night shift allowance after 20:00

Training Period: Approximately 3 months

Monday to Thursday: 06:00-16:30

Friday: 06:00-14:30

Role Overview

As a CNC Operator, you will be an integral part of the machining department, responsible for processing castings and ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with previous CNC and manufacturing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

CNC Operations

-Operate CNC turning, CNC milling, manual turning, manual milling, and drilling machines.

Part Processing
-Interpret and follow technical drawings, techniques, and instructions to process parts with precision.

Inspection

-Occasionally inspect machined parts and conduct first-off checks on other operators’ work to ensure quality standards are met.

Additional Duties

-Perform quality checks, inspections, and other tasks as required by the department.
