Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customs Clerk for our client based in Dover. This is a full-time permanent position starting asap.

4 days on 4 days off

7pm till 7am

£30,000 per year

Duties:
- Preparation and processing of Import & Export Customs declarations.
- Customs import/export entry checking.
- Liaise with customers.
- Deal with Customs queries.
- Maintain data integrity.
- Ensure that the company is fully compliant.
- Support and advise customers.
- Interact with customers, both face-to-face or by telephone/email in a professional and courteous manner.

Experience

- Previous customs clerk experience.
- Previous use of customs software.
- Good understanding of customs clearance requirements.
- Experience of road transport / haulage.
