We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Pricing Coordinator to join our client's ever-growing team based in Basildon.

Duties include:-

* Assisting the Sea freight Manager.
* Understand and execute the departments vision of good business development in order to successfully move Sea Freight products.
* Ensuring customer bookings are accurately recorded.
* Communicate with line manager, reporting new sales leads and handover of shipments.
* Create weekly report on number of quotes sent out, margins and comments.
* Follow up quotations for new import and export enquiries.
* Always maintaining excellent customer and inter-departmental relationships.

The ideal candidates will preferably be experienced within import or export operations with knowledge of LCL and FCL services essential as well as systems [e.g., CNS, Destin8 and Sequoia] (or similar). Excellent customer service and communication skills with impeccable attention to detail. They will need to be Proficient with standard software packages, especially MSWord, Excel and Outlook.

Working 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch), Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).

The salary for this position is £25,000 to £27,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
