CATERING ASSISTANTS Maidstone / Aylesford

We are recruiting catering assistants for our cafes at Mote Park and Cobtree Manor Park. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience of working in a café environment. You will be working as part of a team and must be able to work calmly and organised during busy periods. We are open seven days a week, so some weekend working will be required

Duties to include, but not limited to:

· Greeting customers on arrival, processing their food and beverage orders, taking customer payments

· Preparing and serving hot drinks, takeaway items and Ice cream from the counter

· Working as part of the team effort ensuring the front of house and outside seating areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

· Allergen awareness

· Maintaining daily temperature logs

· Keeping the counter displays topped up and looking attractive

· Performing cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

The position is customer focused, so a ''Friendly and Respectful ‘here to help’ attitude is essential.''
