Job Description: Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager

Position Overview:
My client I seeking a motivated and experienced Corporate Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in our reputable accountancy practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality tax services to their portfolio of clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, manage projects, and contribute to the growth and success of their practice.

Responsibilities:
1. Tax Compliance: Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
2. Tax Planning: Assist in tax planning initiatives for corporate clients to minimize tax liabilities and optimise tax efficiency.
3. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters and providing proactive tax advice.
4. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations based on findings to clients and colleagues.
5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments to deliver comprehensive tax solutions and support firm-wide initiatives.
6. Staff Development: Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance on technical matters and fostering their professional development.
7. Project Management: Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
2. Experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice or corporate tax department.
3. Strong knowledge of corporate tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative tax solutions.
5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
6. Proven ability to manage client relationships and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
