* Superb New Role Joining a Thriving Family-Feel Company in Tonbridge *

Operating as specialists within a technical sector, this company are a supplier to many major clients and projects throughout the UK.
Expanding their team, and with exciting future plans, they seek to recruit a Sales Office Manager (or Coordinator) to take on a diverse day-to-day role.
The role will involve full and ongoing training, to provide the successful candidate with technical expertise - and so, direct prior experience is not essential... albeit experience within a technical / industrial / manufacturing sector could be beneficial (instrumentation, OEM, vacuum or similar).

Working alongside a welcoming and stable team, your day-to-day will consist:-
- Customer liaison - working with both new enquiries, referred enquiries from External Sales team, and existing and previous customers (B2B); through phone, email and meetings.
- Sales Support / Coordination - reading / interpreting project diagrams (eg schematics and technical drawings); identifying best product/component solutions bespoke to project needs; generating quotations and providing to customers.
- Supplier communication - negotiating / placing orders for parts/products, agreeing lead times, managing supplier relationships, supplier visits.
- Organising couriers / shipments.
- Producing documents.
- Managing sales through to completion.
- ad hoc projects such as supporting the workshop, supply chain or other teams.

Interesting and varied role - great for someone not wanting to be stuck behind a desk all day!

This could be an ideal role for someone to move away from external sales/new business development; or for someone looking for a position with more variety.
