Rap Interiors are a successful Design and Fit Out Contractor, based in Maidstone but delivering refurbishment projects throughout London and the South East.

We are searching for the right candidate to join our company to provide estimating support.

The Job Role

We are looking for the right person with attention to detail and deadline orientated. We are a close knit team that feeds off direct communication between all departments to work in an organised fashion so this skill is imperative for the successful candidate.
You will be working with design, projects and surveying teams, giving you a better understanding of managing jobs that you have been involved in pricing.

You’ll be heavily involved with supporting our Estimating department in carrying out site surveys of projects, building up specification sheets, sending out sub-contractor packages and creating quotations. Knowledge of products and materials used on site would be beneficial and an understanding of the Construction industry will make your integration easier.

Our concept is to look after our clients all the way, making sure we have great relationships developing all the time.

A lot of our business is repeat and referral, and with an amazing website we receive some amazing enquiries from clients who want us to create fantastic workplaces for their business.

Rap Interiors is owned and run by two family members and have created the company where team members work together in a friendly office environment. We celebrate successes and encourage personal development within the company.

It would be great if the applicant lived within 20 miles of Kent HQ office so travelling to and from the office is of ease.

Essential Skills
- Must have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Good Memory
- Should be comfortable with reading and understanding drawings.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal qualities.
- Must be able to work as a team.
- Organisational skills, time keeping, paperwork, cost management, understanding of onsite build queries
- Good relationship building with clients, suppliers, contractors and the Rap team
- Knowledge in Microsoft Suite would be beneficial
- Previous construction experience/education preferred

Training can be provided in areas the right candidate may require.

Rap Interiors offers a competitive salary, plus Pension scheme, 20 days holiday that increases with time spent at company(plus Bank hols), Birthday day off.
Hours of working are 9-5pm
