Support Worker needed in Canterbury!

Our client in Canterbury is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join their team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 1 month but with the potential to be extended.

Experience dealing with vulnerable adults facing mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse and homelessness in challenging situations is essential for this position.

Duties include but are not limited to, carrying out welfare checks on service users, answering the office telephone, meeting and greeting service users when attending the office and general office duties.

Hours will be worked out on a rota basis around 7 days per week, between the hours of 8am and 10:30pm. This role will include some weekend working.

37.5 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch break on shift

Salary: £12.04 per hour
