Overview
This job role is based at our Edenbridge office and warehouse facility. Predominantly be to make sure that our Stock, Yard and Warehouses runs efficiently. You will be required to represent the company professionally at all times.

Specific Tasks
• Ensure the warehouse, stores areas and yard are kept clean, tidy, safe, litter free and secure at all times
• Organise the warehouses so stock items are easily identifiable and accessible, sort and stack stock in a logical and safe manner.
• Purchasing stock and managing deliveries to customers
• Implementing stock systems and identify ideas for improvement in efficiency and operational output.
• Accept, unload and check stock deliveries, undertake a visual inspection of goods and label deliveries with their job name or number and other identifying information using our thermal printer.
• Isolating and mark sub-standard items, report any damaged products or parts to the Operations Team.
• Book goods in using the ERP system and maintaining other computerised administration and stock inventory.
• Pick stock / orders for Installation Team to enable ease of loading; products for specific jobs to be put in the loading area, assist with loading when required.
• Allocate stock and deliveries to Work in Progress and clearly label accordingly with the associated job information and move into the WIP area of the warehouse. Mirror physical location in ERP system.
• Picking and packing our range of products as directed by Operations Team for installation jobs and supply only deliveries/orders.
• Liasing and working with our Couriers and hauliers to book and arrange collections or deliveries.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with our Southern and Northern Operations Teams with regard to stock transfer and holding between sites and arranging in house vehicle deliveries and movements ensuring goods are received and dispatched on time.
• Assisting with the loading of collections and the unloading of deliveries, including using the Forklift Truck.
• Preparing products and loading for shows and marketing events.
• Making sure that show and marketing products are stored correctly and are clean and suitable to be taken to shows.
• Adhering to and enforcing company health and safety procedures and policies.
• General warehouse duties including waste management, stock taking, notifying the Operations Team of low/slow moving stock levels on both products and fixings.
• Undertake the assembly of some of our products including our innovative CyclePod range.
• Make deliveries to customers and collecting products from suppliers, using one of our company vehicles ensuring the safe delivery of the products by correct packaging, handling and driving.
• There may be times when you will be required to assist with the installation of our products, this will require you to travel with members of the Installation Team to a customer’s site

The ideal applicant will have the following:-

• Good organisational skills, Flexible and a good knowledge and sense of Health & Safety.
• A proven history of operating and managing in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in using Microsoft software package, mainly Outlook and Excel.
• Experience of purchasing
• Familiar and used to using ERP / Sock management systems.
• Forklift Truck training / certification.
• Full UK driving licence (Manual gear box)
